Follow-up Comment #3:

I checked in this change with a few minor changes:

* I removed the syntax parser for the SAVE subcommand since that has not yet
been implemented.

* I indirected the cluster membership identifier through the group_order
permuation so that they get the correct identifier in the output.

I also added a test based on the example that Alan provided.
