Details:

The content of the cell in the first column is not shown (empty grey with
thick border but no content) when a row is selected. When a column is
selected, the cell in the first row is empty. 

The bug is gone after any single cell has been selected. To reproduce the
bug:

Create variables and cases with grid.sps
Go to data view
Select a row => bug visible
Select a column => bug visible
Go to variable view
Select a row => bug visible
Select a column => bug visible
Go to data view
Select any single cell => bug is gone in data view
Go to variable view
Select any single cell => bug is gone in variable view

I tested this on git version of pspp and ssw as of 29th of November 2017 on
Debian unstable. Attached is a screenshot showing the empty cell in the data
view.
