STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Launch PSPPIRE.
2. Switch to the Data View tab.
3. Enter 3 numbers (1.0, 2.0, 3.0) in the 3 first rows of the first column.
4. Trigger the following main menu action: Transform=>Rank Cases... and
perform the following steps in the Rank Cases dialog that appears.
5. Move the only existing variable "Var0001" into the Variable(s) field using
the arrow button.
6. Click the Rank Types button below.
7. Check the "Fractional rank" checkbox, then click the Continue button in the
"Rank Cases: Types" dialog that appears.
8. Click the OK button in the Rank Cases dialog.

ACTUAL RESULT in versions 2.0.0 (Windows) and 2.0.1 (Debian):
A new variable RVar0001 appears in the second column, but all of its cells are
empty or fewer than 3 of its rows are nonempty.

EXPECTED RESULT (these are also actual results in PSPP 1.6):
A new variable RVar0001 appears in the second column, all of its 3 first cells
are nonempty and contain the values (.3333, .6667, 1.0000).
