Dear GNU Bug,
I just wanted to make a suggestion that tar be made a filesystem and merged
with the kernel source. I recently learned tar's options and was amazed at
how complicated tar's command line is. It seems like making tar a filesystem
would offset alot of this work to the vfs and GNU fileutils.
