SED help needed

Hello,

this is no bug Message, but a help message.

i am a newbie and have only one question:

i want to change with sed one expression into another, but i dont jnow the
exact sysntax

here is what i mean:

-root - dir
 -other dir
 -other dir

in other - dir need http://www.example changed into a httpS://example.


how can i do this with sed?
