Noted. Unfortunately CVS doesn't support changing permissions, that's how
this got in.

Right. Didn't notice because I built an rpm
[Using the historical
%makeinstall LDFLAGS=-s prefix=${RPM_BUILD_ROOT}%{_prefix}
exec_prefix=${RPM_BUILD_ROOT}
from back before DESTDIR was introduced at all], so things were done in a
build root. Fixed in CVS.
