OOps, this was typed in when I was under the impression that one could
do diff file1 file2 file.... dir
just like cp. OK, never mind the following then.
Unless one wants to "enhance" diff. na, never mind.
Supposed emacs nitpick: dired-diff ignores marked ("*") files
Dired's "=" (dired-diff) sticks out like a sore thumb in that it
ignores the marked files one makes.
I wanted to do "diff all these files I marked against some directory
as a final argument", but no...
One must do "! diff * ~", instead of "=~" (in this example we diff
against $HOME)
Indeed dired's diff uses a mark idea different than all the other
dired commands I think.
