Since version 1.25 is dated 1995-10-16, you should try to obtain a newer
version, ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/bison/bison-1.35.tar.gz , for example.

The newest development version should be available from
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/bison/bison-1.49a.tar.{gz,bz2}
