What exactly is your point? DESTDIR is certainly more convenient for
many cases, but it's not powerful enough to handle all of them; what Tom
recommends -- supporting both -- seems eminently sensible.

Interestingly enough, my personal scripts didn't tag Tom's mail as spam,
but it _did_ tag yours as such (because you included `*****SPAM*****'
in the subject line).
