failure trying to strip c54-coff

When I try to strip a TI c54 binary using binutils-2.13 I get
the following error:

  BFD: Unrecognized reloc type 0x4011
  BFD: BFD 2.13 internal error, aborting at coff-tic54x.c line 281 in 
tic54x_lookup_howto
  BFD: Please report this bug.

This toolchain was built with the following options:

  ./configure --enable-targets='c54x' --prefix=$HOME --program-prefix=c54-
