this is problem with installation of postscript font into ghostscript.
(It would belong to bug-gnu-utils only if the generated postscript was
srewed up; I guess this is not the case.)
I think you should report this bug to RedHat, mentioning that Mandrake
version 7.2 works. I don't think you have to mention all the details,
just take an example generated postscript file and attach it to the
nug report.
Either this is something RedHat screwed up, or a clever trick on
Mandrake's side. In both cases, RedHat people should be able to fix it.
If I remember correctly, you should use web access to bugzilla to report
bugs to RedHat.
