Compiling under Linux

Dear sir or madam,

I tried to compile the Findutils 4.1 under Linux 2.4.20 with GCC 2.95.4
20010319.
The compiler complains about calls to strstr() and strdup() with an empty
parameter list and a undefined constant FMT_...
I have attached a context-diff of the changes I made to compile properly (at
least I hope so).
