I look forward to it :-) I've been making a habit of building many of the gnu utilities for our hardware environment here: IRIX, Solaris 6 & 8, and Redhat Linux 7.x. Almost all of the gnu utilities compile successfully on all my hardware. I know IRIX is a bit of a pain at times but it's worth it.
