Yes, I should clarify that it is not my intention to move the debate
to the logs for this particular bug. I just felt that the fact that
this bug has been submitted should be known to the readers of bug-gnu-utils
and the diffutils maintainer in particular, so I forwarded this report
the same way it's normally done for "technical" bugs.
