This is probably well known, but should be fixed:
% echo 'for(;;) {}' | bc
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
% bc --version
bc 1.06
Copyright 1991-1994, 1997, 1998, 2000 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
This happens on systems with Suse Linux from versions 7.1 - 9.0, but
probably on others too.
