Is this still relevant? The successor of the DOS filesystem, VFAT, was
shipped since 1995. That's 10 years ago. The DJGPP support in gettext has
not seen a volunteer caring about it for 3 years. Also, other operating
systems that used 8.3 style filenames, like GEMDOS or TRSDOS, are long dead.
This constellation (inttypes-pri.m4, inttypes.m4, inttypes_h.m4) exists
since gettext 0.11.4 - 2.5 years ago. Yet you are the first one to complain
about it.
