sdiff code error

In GNU diffutils 2.8 file sdiff.c we have the following:

# define sigprocmask(how, n, o) \
    ((how) == SIG_BLOCK ? *(o) = sigblock (*(n)) : sigsetmask (*(n)))

sigprocmask (SIG_SETMASK, &procmask, 0);

This resolves to *0 = something;

You need a cast, e.g. *(char *)0 = something;
to make it compile.

But writing to memory location 0 is not a good idea!

Not sure what you really wanted it to do. I'm just going to
comment it out.

BFN.  Paul.
