In fact it lead to an inconsistency between machines: The problem
is that MPFR regarded this file as standard, hiding the bug in its
configuration on test machines and making the MPFR build fail on
machines where gettext isn't installed.

Or you can give it a less generic name, such as gettext-size_max.m4.
