when I try to download 'Snapshot (020813) of gnubg with GTK interface' "Impossible to copy file 'gnubg... etc' : access denied; source file maybein use" and the download cannot be completed Then my Mc Afee active shield prompts the following message: "File gnubg-020813.exe is infected by virus W95/coke.22231" Any ideas? Thanks in advanceIt must be McAfee's heuristic scan that 'detects' a virus.
Was the original message sent to the mailing list? If so, I missed it.Anyway, I had the same problem with an old version of McAfee (and reported it to the list a couple of weeks ago), but downloading a new engine + dat-files made the problem go away. I don't have it installed anymore (it was a "cinderella trial version"), so I do not know if it had heuristic scanning turned off - but I guess not..
Did the OP tell which version of McAfee (s)he was using? -- Nis Jorgensen Amsterdam
