Very very cool. :-)

I'd like to also suggest including results, opinions, and reviews that
declare how wonderful GNUBG is.

I got in touch with Tony Lezard, the author of Dueller
(http://www.jobstream.com/~tony/backgammon/), and will be beta-testing
his software. Dueller is a program that allows different backgammon
programs to play automatically against themselves, allowing for
quantitative results and thus results of statistical significance. The
old version was speciifcally to play Jellyfish against Snowie, and the
new version is specifically to add GNUBG support. I'll share the results
obtained of course.

He is looking to add more beta-testers, so anyone wishing to become one
should get in touch with him at mailto:address@hidden Be mindful that
the purpose is to test GNU against another top program, so that means he
will be seeking people who also own either Jellyfish or Snowie.

As to the site, I was wondering whether it might be possible to have the
messages passed in the mailing list to be posted in BBS style at the
site. The Yahoo forums work this way, so that missed messages can be
accessed at the site as well and are organized in threads. This would
allow newcomers, or those who have been absent a while, to look up what
is in discussion or has been discussed. It would also allow easy access
to an old discussion without having to search through your old e-mail.
