If you'll install gnubg 0.11 you'll install a 1 year old version of
gnubg. Many improvements have been made since then.

You can get version 0.11 by extracting it from the CVS repository:

cvs checkout -D 20011101 gnubg

(instructions on CVS sent in an earlier mail).
