O2 and Os are optimilisation parameters. Os reduces the space of the
resulting .exe a bit more than O2 thus.

The DOS window PATH= parameters 'disappear' once the DOS window is closed
(at least with WinME that is).
But it is a good idea to change the set PATH to:

set PATH = C:\mingw\bin;C:\mingw\lib;%PATH%
