If you select "Goto first game when loading matches or sessions"
you can't open any position files!

Actually, the import/loading works well. If you open the game record window you'll see how the position is set up. But gnubg doesn't know that it's a position and jumps regardless to the start. So that's why you see the initial board position. I'd fix it, but so far don't know anything about moverecords and the likes. The main point is to distinguish between a position and a match or session.

As a work-around you just need to click on the last entry in the game record. Then your position will appear.

So it's my own fault for asking for this feature :-)

Hehe, that's what one gets. :-)

Holger
