After you made your move, did you click on the dice to tell gnubg you
had finished moving? Until you do that, it's still your move and you
might decide to put your chequers back and move differently. Once you
click the dice, it's the same as picking up your dice in a
face-to-face backgammon match, when you pick up the dice, you have
completed your move and it's then your opponent's turn.
