Yes! Yes! Yes!

I think everyone with write access to the CVS should be able to put up
some kind of news into the web page, using some kind of web form. I
think it's important that the users check back often. Maybe even the
news should have categories like slashdot or www.gnomedesktop.org

Maybe this is a bit to much? I was just thinking as I typed.

The time for the release of GNU Backgammon 1.0 will be 12 months.
This number, 12 months, has been constant for the last 4 years. ;-)
