Clicking on the gamelist:

(a) normal move: show position with dice rolled
(b) double: show position
(c) take/drop: show position with cube

(a) is a bit special, otherwise it's again due to the interval structure
of gnubg as we discussed several times. When clicking on a move in the
move record, gnubg applies all the move records prior to the one you've
selected. That leads to (b) and (c) above. (a) would normally be
identical to (b), but I've implemented the "next roll" command that
shows the dice roll if present.

This problem will probably be fixed once the internal structure of gnubg
is changed.
