The reply I got from the savannah admins implied there was a security
related problem which was being addresses. I failed to note the date
on the news posting (I'd earlier enquired about what had happened and
why there was no posting about it). I believe, given that the IP is
unchanged, that things should be OK (the source I pulled from CVS was
unchanged from the previous versions mode expected changes).
