At home I even only use 800x600, but it wasn't bad at all. It was just one click in the scroll bar (not dragging btw) to see the lower part.
Here on 1024x768 the entire window fits on the screen without scrolling.

Perhaps it's a mswindows or font thing. The window always appears quite small on my machine, and at 1152x864 the whole list doesn't fit on the screen.

It's very possible that you've set a large font in Windows preferences.

More than just the size, I find looking at 40+ items of data in one go difficult.

What about inserting horizontal separators in between the blocks?

I'm sure you've had a lot of experience looking at this dialog and it probably looks straight forward to you. I think a new user (even one with a good backgammon knowledge), will have quite a bit of trouble.

Maybe, maybe not. But it should not _only_ be designed for newbies. We shouldn't make everything clickable and newbie friendly.

I for my part acknowledge that a (new) user friendly design is a very good thing, but not at the cost of the proficient users. (I'm writing this not only for this particular issue of the match statistics, but in general.)

Holger
