Having high priority doesn't neccesarily mean that it'll be done. Since
all of the involved people are working on a voluntary basis, certain
other non-gnubg tasks will get higher priority.
Also, the RDBMS interface is estimated to be difficult, so other smaller
issues with lower priorities may be fixed if an author has a few spare
hours available.

The python interface could help you here.
gnubg.match() should return the match to you. Now it's just a matter of
looping through the relevant records depending on what you want to
export.
