Dear GNU Backgammon team,

I have downloaded your masterpiece (no kidding) late November 2003 for using it with XDarwin 1.2.0 on Mac OSX 10.2.8.

Question 1 : So far no trouble, even if I got the message herebelow after typing ./gnubg to launch gnu.
-----
GLib: Cannot convert message: Conversion from character set 'UTF-8' to 'fr' is not supported

(process:416): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library

(process:416): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
       Using the fallback 'C' locale.

kCGErrorIllegalArgument : CGSGetWindowType: Invalid window
----

What does it mean and is it necessary to correct it and how ?

Question 2 : Is there any 3d board available for Mac OSX ?

Question 3 : When reviewing a match between two human players, and wanting to use the show function in the annotation window in order to displaying some plays, I got the message "illegal move" always on the same side (in my case the player whose board is on the top of the window and no matter the direction of play I chose). No malfunction for the other side. How can I fix it ?

Thanks for yours answers. And keep on this excellent work.

Pierre
