If I don't misread the code the answer two your question is yes.

Pass! Maybe Joseph have made some tests? I'm also interested in
how the pruning nets score against pubeval. (both in play strength
and time consume.)

Interesting....

Maik also suggested using the pruning nets as variance reduction
to 0-ply rollouts. Things like this can be discussed.
