With the latest code, if I use gthreads under Win, the clibrate speed seems to work, but if I open gnubg and then just click on the red cross on top right corer fo the window to close it, it freezes and I have to manually kill it.

I’ve tried many variations on this and can’t reproduce with the either thhe GMT build or the WMT build. I assumed the GMT is gthreads MultiThreaded and WMT is Windows MultiThreaded.

I have done a fair amount of testing on both and I have had no crashes yet. 4ply hints, 4 ply analysis, Bot playing against itself in a 4pt match, and when Gnubg use to show the hourglass (or spinning circle) when  it was busy – often you could click on the Gnubg window and have it crash. I have not seen that yet in my testing. Both these version running on my system seem to be okay.

When I get a spare moment I’ll dump the DLL’s names being used by Gnubg on my Win32 system. Possibly we have a “DLL hell” problem depending on what is being loaded.
