This, I believe, should be:
0 0 0 0 0 | player on roll has no checkers on ace to 5 points |
11111 0 | 5 checkers on the 6 point |
0 | none on the 7 point |
Same for the opponent's 7 point.
If the position ID is always relative to the player on roll (that is, the first bits are for the player on roll), how come gnubg (graphical and cli version) doesn't change the position ID when the turn is changed but the board kept the same otherwise?
