You probably are looking at these commands:
set evaluation chequer eval plies 3
set evaluation chequer eval prune on
set evaluation chequer eval noise 0.000
set evaluation cubedecision eval plies 2
set evaluation cubedecision eval prune on
set evaluation cubedecision eval noise 0.000
The values above can be adjusted to suit your needs. You can get help
on each one of the commands above by issuing commands like this on the
command line:
help set evaluation chequer eval plies
help set evaluation chequer eval plies
help set evaluation chequer eval prune
help set evaluation chequer eval noise
help evaluation cubedecision eval plies
help evaluation cubedecision eval prune
help evaluation cubedecision eval noise
You can also change the eval filters as well. See:
help set evaluation movefilter

Hi there,
I'm using GNU Backgammon 0.9.0 in console mode.
(and I have no GUI environment at all)
When I type 'hint 1', gnubg replay like this
1. Cubeful 0-ply 24/20 13/8 MWC: 50.49%
How do I change the number of ply on cosole mode or system shell.
(I'd like to see 2-ply hints)
Is there some setting file as plain-text file?
My goal is Web GNUBG Analyzer like this.
