The player names are a bit messed up, I think there should be 2 lots of names,
one which is used if a new game is started and one which is the current players
names (which varies by importing games).

It is quite easy to see if any settings have changed and then prompt the user if
they want to save the new settings on exit. The obvious issue is that this
question would show often as window positions and things like the name issue
above would mean users wouldn't know what settings have changed. One answer is
to only check for "major" settings differences on exit and make the user
manually save "minor" settings.
