Hi all!
As previously annouced on this mailing list, we @ Alca Società
Cooperativa (http://alcacoop.it) are proud to announce the release of
GNU Backgammon Mobile, a real port of gnubg for Android platform.

We are also releasing source code of GNU Backgammon Mobile and
libgnubg-android, where the last one is the port of GNU Backgammon AI.
One reason of this work, among the others, is also the chance to
reintegrate our work into the gnubg source tree in order to create a
real AI linkable library (as it happened for GNU Chess, as an
example). Actually it compiles on x86 and ARM (v6/v7).

You can find a precompiled version of GNU Backgammon Mobile on Google
Play Store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.alcacoop.gnubackgammon.

Source code is available on GitHub, please look at:

Other future goals are:
* extracting analysis and rollouts tools from gnubg
* porting of SSE2 code to SIMD (neural net implementation).

If anyone would like to contribute, please fork us on GitHub, write to
address@hidden or this mailing list.
