Some (gnubg, jellyfish, javafibs) put the bottom player's (usually yours) moves in the left column of the mat file, other (xg, bgblitz2go, shg) put them in the right column, dailygammon even does one or the other randomly.
As a consequence, one often has to use the "Game|Swap players" command to show the imported match correctly.
I have added a "set aliases <nickname1>:<nickname2>:<etc...>" command to the CLI to give a list on account names that should always be imported as player 1 (the bottom player). I'm not sure how to include this in the GUI so it may not be added there soon.
If you set that to the list of your shg, dailygammon, etc... accounts, these matches should be not be imported upside down any more.
I'd be interested by feedback on this. Isn't the term "aliases" too misleading ? Is ':' as a separator ok ? The length of the parameter is limited to 63 characters ; is this enough ? Are there sites or software that allow strange user names that could cause issues ? etc...
