Seriously, though, there's no satisfactory solution here. The
dependency comments are a pain to maintain and are too-often wrong in
my experience.
Personally, I put in comments justifying an "#include" only if it's
not obvious why the #include is there -- e.g., it might be an #include
that is only needed in Solaris 7 or some silly thing like that.
If one combines this strategy with the ":-" strategy listed above,
it's still not satisfactory, but all things considered it's the least
bad of the solutions I'm familiar with (at least for me -- other
tastes differ no doubt).
