FYI, these kind of reports come from the bug tracking system on savannah

http://savannah.gnu.org/support/?group_id=99

If you would like to take responsibility for fixing a bug (hint :-)), you can login to savannah and go to this page, select and edit the bug report and assign it to yourself.

I hope to advertise this more widely as it's a nice way to make sure bugs are fixed.

On the 20011012 core snapshot, it appears that if there
is no NSMenuLocations for the menu in the defaults
database (eg if the menu has never been dragged in that
application), clicking on the menu makes it move a
pixel to the left. Repeated clicking makes it slide left.
