"establish the argv and environment variables"

Hi

I try to compile gnustep on a RH8.0 host, with gcc 3.2. I have downloaded the most recent version of gnustep from CVS. Gnustep-gui and the whole core compiles and installs fine. But the others, especially EasyDiff, Gorm and ProjectCenter, give me the following error:

        GNUSTEP Internal Error:
The private GNUstep function to establish the argv and environment
        variables was not called.
Please report the error to bug-gnustep@gnu.org.

        : Uncaught exception NSInternalInconsistencyException, reason:
        GNUSTEP Internal Error:
The private GNUstep function to establish the argv and environment
        variables was not called.
Please report the error to bug-gnustep@gnu.org.

I searched the archives and found only one proposition for a solution. I should have a look if the configuration script of gnustep-base gives the follwowing output:

checking if +load method is executed before main... yes
checking kernel support for /proc filesystem... yes
checking use of fake-main definition... no

That is true for me.
In the GNUstep-HOWTO, it says "gcc (3.0.4 or greater). So my version of 3.2 shouldn't be a problem either. I hope I do not have to downgrade the compiler.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks!
Phil
