I think we can only find out if we give it a try ... can you help to
setup such a thing (if it fails just temporarily), where we can
simulate upgrades by eplaying 1.5.0.5 -> 1.5.0.6 -> 1.5.0.7
transitions?

What would be needed to give me permission to access that machine? My
GPG Key? Its in the debian keyring:
