I just downloaded the Iecat 3.0.3 binary from here and when I run it
, I get this error:

address@hidden ~]$ .local/icecat-3.0.3-g1/icecat
.local/icecat-3.0.3-g1/icecat-bin: error while loading shared
libraries: libxcb.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file
or directory

address@hidden ~]$ uname -a
Linux dune 2.6.9-67.EL #1 Fri Nov 16 12:34:13 EST 2007 i686 athlon

address@hidden ~]$ cat /etc/issue
CentOS release 4.6 (Final)
Kernel \r on an \m
address@hidden ~]$

Firefox 3.0.3 runs on my system (though it crashes a lot). Does it
mean that Icecat is using different run time libraries from Firefox ?

I am still using Icecat 2.0.0.13-g1 as all version of Icecat 3 give
same error on my system. I searched on libxcb and found that it is
replacement for Xlib: http://xcb.freedesktop.org/. SInce my
"apt-cache search xcb" does not return anything at all, does it mean
CentOS is still using Xlib and hence I can never use Icecat 3 ?
