It looks like some extensions check for the browser name as well as the
version - to install

I had to install

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/421

and download the fullscreen video .xpi, and then install from the local
file using mr toolkit.

Also this is useful if it is checking the version string, but you know
it shouldn't matter:
