I followed the same compilation as with RC1, but got the following
errors when trying to run make:

Section [Build] not found.
STOP!  configure.in has changed, and your configure is out of date.
Please rerun autoconf and re-configure your build directory.
To ignore this message, touch 'configure' in the source directory,
but your build might not succeed.
make: *** [configure] Error 1

touched configure and tried again, got this:

Section [Build] not found.
STOP!  configure has changed and needs to be run in this build directory.
Please rerun configure.
To ignore this message, touch 'config.status' in the build directory,
but your build might not succeed.
make: *** [config.status] Error 1

touched the specified file, and could run make after this. make install
worked as well, and the program is runnable.
