Does the Flash piece require some JavaScript to load? This is most likely the case, and it would explain why it doesn't crash when LibreJS is on: Simply put, the JavaScript code isn't free (or detected as free) and the flash piece never loads (and the Flash piece and its plugin are not free either...)


But this bug is only with the version 17, not with older (14 or 10 by exemple).

It looks like there are similar bug reports on Bugzilla (for Firefox.)

In any case, one of the main goals of IceCat is to be a fully free browser, so running it with the nonfree Flash plugin isn't something we support.
