yeah :-)
In general, I do not like "cloud" services which are not set up and hosted by
myself or by people I know personally and trust. 
So, since I do not need the Mozilla sync tool neither I want to set up a sync
server... I prefer to remove it at all.

Mozilla say (see [1]) they are starting to integrate social services into
Firefox (with a "Social" platform provider API), meaning things such as: 
A persistent provider Worker
The "Social Provider List"
The "Social Provider Sidebar"
"Service-Pinned Windows"
The "Recommend/Share" command
Notifications
Contact Access API
Interactions with Multiple Service Providers

Now FF 17.0.1 include a "First revision of the Social API and support for
Facebook Messenger" (see [2])...

I do not want any of such "social" stuff (I call it: freedom and privacy
issues) so I would prefer to remove it at all... but how?
