The Abine website says: "DoNotTrackMe is formerly DoNotTrackPlus" (not Google
Sharing); and the products listed in their web site do not seem to include GS:

But http://www.googlesharing.net/ redirects to Abine... so it seems the domain
googlesharing.net is owned by Abine now...

The Mozilla addons page:
says GS is GPLv3.... The addon .xpi file dowloadable from this page
contains a COPYING file which is the GPLv3 license.

So, the license policy at the Abine web site seems to be related to their other
products (DNTme etc.), not to GS.

Anyway it seems there is something strange...

There is also a page at the Riseup web site about GS:
Note that Riseup runs a GS proxy:
which should be used instedad of the Abine's GS proxy at:

I am not 100% sure if using GS is still safe... Anyway it is certainly better
to setup GS to use the Riseup's GS proxy (and I have also deleted the Abine's
GS proxy).

Other thoughts?
