I believe that's incorrect.  It's true that Mozilla is considering
making future versions of Firefox use Cloudflare DNS by default, and
that they've conducted a shield study to collect performance data on
Cloudflare's DNS service from users of Firefox Nightly builds who have
volunteered to participate in studies.

Certainly not.  Search for "network.trr" in "about:config" to see the
relevant preferences, which are briefly described near the end of this
page:

With the default settings, it uses whatever DNS server is configured in
your OS.
