Actually, that _was_ config.log from src/gcc-2.95.3/sun4x_57/gcc/config.log
(src/gcc-2.95.3/sun4x_57 being my Sun build area using VPATHisms in make).

However, it was a config.log from a fresh ../configure run, and not the
config.log representative of our actual install from Oct 2001.

I will rebuild gcc 2.95.3 and see what happens.  At that point, you're
more than welcome to see any file in the entire built source tree.
