Hmm.  If you say

  info groff

and type

  i node

to get to an indexed entry for `node', you come to section `gtroff
internals' in groff's info file, explaining what a node is.

If you still don't like the warning message, can you suggest something
better?  Note that the list of possible delimiters is quite long and
contains a lot of surprises, cf. section `Escapes' in the info manual.
